Sunset from Jones Pass
My friend Gabe and I made an evening of shooting the sunset and night sky from Jones Pass last weekend. The drive up was fine until the last couple of switchbacks, then the road became snow-covered. We had to park his vehicle and walk the last couple of hundred yards. The wind on top was ferocious, and we spent most of our time just out of reach behind a road cut. The sunset turned out to be one of the finest I've ever photographed, and was worth the frozen fingers! The night sky, not so much.
Hope you enjoy the photographs!
