Grand Lake’s Famous Peak, Mount Baldy, rises to 12,007 feet above sea level. Officially known as Mount Craig, it is the prominent peak towering above the town of Grand Lake. Located in Rocky Mountain National Park, Baldy is usually climbed after an arduous hike up East Inlet, home of five stunning alpine lakes, including Lone Pine and Lake Verna.
Here are the photographs from one evening in January, shot from Highway 34, and from Point Park on the west shore of Grand Lake, enjoy!
