The Blue Valley at Sunrise
One morning I was lucky enough to be traveling the Trough Road, Grand County Road 1, on the way from Granby, Colorado to Grand Mesa. The sunrise over the Blue River just outside of Kremmling was astounding. I pulled over, jumped out of the truck camera in hand, and caught these shots.
On down the road, I snapped a couple more when I came into view of Yarmony Mountain.
Many of you know the road, the short-cut between the Granby area and the western portion of the state via I-70. For those of you new to the area, it's a road not to be missed. It starts just outside of Kremmling, follows the Colorado River past State Bridge, and connects you with I-70 in Wolcott in Eagle County.
Here's a link to the spot where I took most of the photos, via Goggle Maps:
Thanks for viewing!
