Under the Alpine Blue Moon
This past July found me backpacking again for the first time in almost 15 years. I took a trip into the Indian Peaks Wilderness to the area between Gourd and Island Lakes, camping at timberline under the Blue Moon. The weather was excellent, the usual wind and clouds of mosquitoes, but little rain and just enough clouds to make the sky interesting. My legs held out, and I was lucky enough to get some good photos for everyone. Hope you enjoy these!
